        - 2 cloves garlic, minced

        - 2 tomatoes, chopped

        - 1 teaspoon ground paprika

        - 1 teaspoon ground cumin

        - 3 cups water

        - Rehydrate the dried Mopane worms by soaking them in hot water for about 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.

        - Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.

        - Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

        - Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook until they start to break down.

        - Add the paprika and cumin, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

        - Add the rehydrated Mopane worms, salt, pepper, and water. Bring to a simmer.

        - Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the Mopane worms are tender.

        - Serve hot with steamed rice or pap (cornmeal porridge).
