Chibuku
Ingredients:
- 2 cups maize meal
- 2 cups sorghum meal
- 8 cups water
- 1 teaspoon sugar (optional)
Instructions:
- Mix the maize meal and sorghum meal together in a large pot.
- Add water and stir well to combine.
- Cover the pot and let it sit at room temperature for 2-3 days to ferment.
- Stir the mixture occasionally to ensure even fermentation.
- After fermentation, cook the mixture over medium heat until it thickens.
- Add sugar if desired, and let it cool before serving.
